CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's track & field team got solid performances from Paul Cory and Keyondrae Wilkerson in its 2023 outdoor season opener on Saturday at Mount Mercy's Mustang Open. Cory and Wilkerson combined for two podium finishes, leading the Kohawk men to 10th place in the team standings. Cory took home two point-scoring finishes, earning second in the high jump and fifth in the long jump. The Cedar Rapids native cleared a height of 1.80m, just .15m of breaking into Coe's top-10 lists. Wilkerson earned a second-place finish in the triple jump, maintaining his strong showings in the event from the 2022-23 indoor campaign. Ace Perrien and Robert Hansen brought home the final two point-scoring performances for the Kohawks, taking fifth and eighth in the 400m hurdles.
