DES MOINES, Iowa - The Coe College men's tennis team earned a pair of A-R-C road wins on Saturday, defeating Central College 5-1 and Simpson College 8-1 in the team's final road trip of the regular season. The Kohawks and Dutch played a tightly contested match in the opening contest of the day, battling in the initial doubles competition but Coe claimed an 8-6 win at no. 3 and a pair of tiebreaker wins at no. 1 and no. 2 to take a 3-0 lead into singles.

Jordan Oaks secured the final two points for Coe, earning wins at no. 3 and no. 1. The Kohawks capped off the unbeaten day with a dominant effort in the second match against the Storm, earning an 8-1 decision to improve to 7-1 in the A-R-C. Coe again swept doubles play, earning a pair of 8-1 decisions and an 8-2 victory. The Kohawks then won five singles matches, all in straight sets, putting an exclamation mark on their final two road matches of the regular season. The victories move Coe to 15-8 on the year and 7-1 in the league with one match remaining before the postseason tournament which is set to begin on Tuesday, April 25.
