DECORAH, Iowa - Junior men's track and field distance runner
Lewis Kleman made headlines for the Kohawk men's track and field team on the final day of the A-R-C Outdoor Championships, setting a new school record in the 1500 with a time of 3:56.12. Kleman earned 11th place in the loaded A-R-C field and was less than one second from scoring team points for the Kohawks. The Kohawks picked up two team points during the final day with its 4x400 team earning seventh place overall.
Paul Cory, Ace Perrien, Cole Kirkham and
Keyondrae Wilkerson combined for a time of 3:29.05, Coe's fastest of the year. Wilkerson and
Chris Baker picked up the remaining highest individual finishes for the Kohawks on Saturday afternoon, securing 11th in the triple jump and 16th in the hammer.
