ELSAH, Ill. - Crystal Burke started her senior season with a bang on Friday afternoon, taking the top spot in the women's 4K at the Principia College Home Opener. Burke led Coe women's cross country to the team title in its opening race of the year, finishing in 17:03.9, a new personal college best. She was closely followed by three teammates completing the top four finishers as
Elise Dummermuth, Fiona Mahler and
Kendall Nolan completed the top-four sweep for the Kohawks.
Alexis Vaughn was Coe's final runner to place inside the top 10, finishing 10th overall with a new PR time of 19:40.6.
