WAVERLY, Iowa - The Coe College women's golf team had a record-breaking weekend at the Wartburg College Fall Invite, setting a new 18 and 36-hole school scoring record. The Kohawks posted a second-round total of 312 on Sunday, smashing the previous record of 325. In addition, Coe's two-day total of 638 was nearly 30 strokes better than the previous school record, beating the mark of 662 set back in 2021. The Kohawks had the eighth-lowest team score in round two, finishing in 10th place in the team standings.
Kye Daywitt and
Anja Mills joined the record-setting performances on Sunday, turning in new career-best rounds of 77 to finish T34 and 50th respectively.
Megan Tanghe also carded a sub-80 round in the second 18-holes, posting a 76 to finish T41.
Morgan Witte and
Morgan Cain were the next two-highest finishers for the Kohawks, ending the tournament tied for 59th after shooting 82 and 83 respectively.
