WATERLOO, Iowa – The Coe College women's golf team was in action Monday, competing at Hawkeye Community College's Hawkeye RedTail Spring Shootout, where the Kohawks finished runner-up as a team.
Kye Daywitt and
Morgan Witte paced the Kohawks individually, finishing in a tie for third place with rounds of nine-over par, 81. Witte made a trio of birdies in her round while Daywitt recorded one during her back-nine to spark a strong closing stretch.
Lia Maxwell and
Sydney Stutzel were next on the leaderboard for Coe in a tie for eighth place, finishing with rounds of 84.
Paige Franzen rounded out Coe's top finishes, placing 11th with an 18-hole mark of 86.
