CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Coe College women's golfers
Megan Tanghe and
Anja Mills turned in strong opening rounds of the 2023 season for the Kohawks on Saturday, shooting 77 and 80 respectively to lead the team after 18 holes. Tanghe sits in a tie for fourth place after round one, three strokes behind the leader while Mills is in a tie for 10th six shots back of the lead.
Molly Baker and
Morgan Witte were close behind their teammates on the individual leaderboard, each carding an opening-round score of 81 to lead Coe's second team in the field. Both of the Kohawk squads finished the day inside the top half of the team standings, shooting 334 and 340 to sit in fourth and sixth place with 18 holes to play.
