CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's soccer team picked up its fourth win in five games on Tuesday evening, defeating Augustan College 3-0 at Clark Field. The Kohawks ended their non-conference schedule with a bang, securing their second-straight clean sheet and third of the year. Coe opened the scoring in the 11th minute from a corner kick and later added a second just before the halftime whistle. The hosts remained in control for the final 45 minutes of play, adding one final goal in the 71st minute to put the game on ice.

GAME FACTS
- Coe had its first shot of the game just six minutes in as Harold Moncada-Echeverria narrowly missed an opener. The Kohawks took the lead moments later from a set-piece opportunity, cashing in on a corner kick for the opening goal. Sebastian Pena floated a cross in toward the six yard box before Alan Losoya looped a header past the keeper. The hosts continued to dominate for the rest of the half, racking up numerous efforts that came up empty. The lead was doubled just before the half as Ian Kearney won and converted a penalty to make it 2-0.
- The hosts stayed on top during the second half, controlling the possession throughout the early moments of the period. The Kohawks put the game to bed in the 71st minute, getting a wonder goal from Moncada-Echeverria who delivered an overhead strike from inside the area.
