Coe took control in the early minutes of the second, beginning the half with a 12-4 spit that featured five points from Schnurr and a 3 from Cooper Nailor. It was balanced over the next few minutes, with Coe and NWU trading points in the next seven minutes but another 3 from Seth Newton tied the game at 51 with eight minutes left. The Kohawks gained some breathing room during the following phase, scoring eight of the next 10 to grab a 59-53 lead.
