DECORAH, Iowa – The Coe College women's soccer team dropped an American Rivers Conference match at Luther College on Saturday afternoon, falling 1-0 to the Norse. The Kohawks and Norse played a scoreless first half, each forcing saves from the opposing goalkeepers in the opening 45 minutes. The hosts scored the lone goal in the 66th minute, hitting Coe on a quick counter attack to score the winner. The Kohawks kept battling over the final 20-plus minutes but Luther's defense proved too tough to crack as the Norse held on for the 1-0 victory.

- Luther forced a pair of saves from Ashton Proctor early in the first half, calling the sophomore keeper into action in the 5th and 11th minutes. Mac Adams registered Coe's first shot on target in the 15th minute, seeing a shot attempt saved as Luther's keeper kept it a 0-0 game. Adams nearly found the opening goal again later in the first half, calling the Norse keeper into action with a shot on goal in the 33rd minute. Proctor came up big with little time remaining in the first half, denying a Luther shot attempt in the 41st minute to ensure a scoreless half. Luther controlled the chances in the second half and capitalized on its best in the 66th minute, scoring the only goal from just inside the Kohawk box.
