INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Coe College women's soccer team suffered a 4-0 defeat to Simpson College on Tuesday evening. The Kohawks, playing their final game of the 2024 season, held the Storm scoreless in the opening period, limiting the hosts to just nine total shots and three on target. Simpson cracked the code in the second half, striking four times in the final 45 minutes to secure the victory. The hosts scored a pair of goals in quick succession, hitting the front in the 57th minute before making it 2-0 in the 61st. The Storm made it 4-0 before the final whistle, scoring in the 84th and 86th minute to cap off the victory.

- Simpson was stymied in the first half by Coe's defense, recording just three shots on target that Lilly Monroe kept out. The Storm piled on the pressure in the opening minutes of the second half, forcing Monroe into five saves before finally finding the opener in the 57th minute. Simpson doubled the advantage moments later, adding insurance in the 61st minute on a solo effort. The hosts capped off the victory in style in the closing minutes, getting two goals in less than two minutes to go up 4-0.
