CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's cross country team was in action on Saturday at Mount Mercy's Seminole Stampede, a race featuring mostly DII and NAIA programs. The Kohawks women showed well at the course that is set to host next month's A-R-C Championship, finishing 10th in the 19-team field. Freshman
Keeauna Scheufele led the individual finishes for the Kohawks, placing 29th with a time of 23:43.2.
Lily Mayo was next across the line for the Kohawks, finishing 53rd in a time of 24:38.7
Fiona Mahler, Natalie Reifsteck and
Roz Hoefflin rounded out the top five placers for the Kohawks, finishing 88th, 100th and 101st respectively. In total, all seven Kohawk runners set new personal or season bests, highlighting the team's best performance of the year.
