AMES, Iowa – Coe College junior women's golfer Kye Daywitt posted an opening-round 80 on Saturday afternoon to begin the 2024 American Rivers Conference Championships. Daywitt began the day with a six-over 41 on the front nine but responded well, posting a three-over-par 39 on the back to finish with the 80. Coe currently sits fourth on the team leaderboard, posting a team score of 341 on the opening day. Morgan Witte, Morgan Cain and Anja Mills all registered opening scores of 87, rounding out the top four for the Kohawks.
