CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's soccer team fell to Wartburg on Saturday afternoon at Clark Field 1-0, keeping the game close but ultimately falling to the visiting Knights. The Knights controlled much of the game but struggled to create real chances, registering just five shots on target during the 90 minutes. The game's lone goal came in the 18th minute for the Knights, taking the lead for good on a strong strike from inside Coe's penalty box.

GAME FACTS
- Wartburg had seven shots in the early going before finding the back of the net in the 18th minute. Coe responded and registered its first shot on target in the 20th minute as Indigo Torres saw her shot stopped by Knight keeper. The Knights continued to press the issue, forcing Lilly Monroe into a pair of saves before the end of the half. Wartburg forced the issue early in the second, getting six corners and a pair of shots, one that Monroe stopped and one that was well blocked by the Kohawk defense. Coe's best chance to level the game came in the 83rd minute off the foot of Jordan Rosas but her attempt was saved as Wartburg saw out the remaining time on the clock.
