AMES, Iowa – Coe College junior women's golfer
Morgan Witte had a career day in the second round of the A-R-C Championships on Saturday, shooting a personal-best 76 to lead the Kohawk women. The five-over-par round from Witte propelled Coe to the best 18-hole team score of the championship thus far, carding a second-round total of 320, four strokes better than Central and 11 strokes better than current leaders Dubuque.
Kye Daywitt stayed the course and fired another solid 81 in more windy conditions, holding inside the top five just five strokes back of the current individual leader.

Anja Mills bounced back from tough opening rounds, jumping up the leaderboard with rounds of 81 and 82 to sit in T14 and T17 respectively. Coe (661) currently sits two shots back of second-place Central (659) and six shots back of 36-hole leaders Dubuque (655).
