AMES, Iowa – The Coe College Women's Golf team locked up its second straight third-place finish at the American Rivers Conference Championships on Mondaend, carding a third-round score of 322 to post a 54-hole total of 983. The team score is the second-lowest 54-hole total in school history and featured a pair of sub-80 rounds from
Kye Daywitt and
Morgan Witte. The Kohawk pairing fired rounds of 77 and 79 respectively, locking up all-conference honors with top-10 finishes. Daywitt ended the championship with a three-round score of 238 and tied for third, finishing six shots back of the individual medalist. Witte followed up her personal best round from Sunday with another strong showing on Monday. The junior fired a 79 to bring her tournament total to 242, placing seventh overall.
Morgan Cain and
Anja Mills helped the Kohawk women to the third-place team finish, posting rounds of 83 on Monday to finish T16 and 18th individually.
Molly Baker registered her best round of the tournament on Monday, carding a third-round 85 to finish 31st overall.
