CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 defeat to the University of Dubuque Spartans at Clark Field on Wednesday evening. The Kohawks went behind early in the match, conceding the opening goal in the third minute. UD would add two more in the second half and score two more insurance goals in the second half to put the match away.
Maggie Pruess was the lone Kohawk to register a shot on goal, seeing an attempt saved in the 67th minute as UD ensured the clean sheet.

GAME FACTS
- The Spartans pounced early, scoring the opening goal on a rebounded effort less than three minutes in. Dubuque continued to pepper the net before scoring the second goal, forcing Lilly Monroe into five saves before making it 2-0. The Spartans quickly made it 3-0 early in the second half, scoring in the 48th minute. UD added two more goals in the final 15 minutes of action, finding the back of the net in the 76th and 83rd minute to cap off the scoring.
