DECORAH, Iowa – Coe College freshman swimmer Kamen Rangelov rewrote the men's swimming and diving record books over the weekend at the Luther College Invite. Rangelov registered three new school records in the 200 Breast, 100 Breast and 50 Free during the weekend, continuing his impressive first season with the Kohawks. On Friday, Rangelov set a new school record in the 200 Breast and 50 Free, registering times of 2:05.98 and 21.48. He followed up on Saturday with another new school record in the 100 Breast with a time of 57.67 while bettering his 50 Free school record with a time of 21.35. Maxwell Deacon also kept up the strong start to his freshman season, finishing second in the 200 Fly with the fourth-fastest time in school history at 2:01.87.
