DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Coe College women's track & field team competed on the final day of the A-R-C Indoor Championships on Saturday, earning team points in numerous individual and team events. The Kohawk women were led by a trio of individual who placed inside the top eight and a pair of relay teams who secured team points.
Crystal Burke, Sangai Dukuly and
Tracy Allen registered top-eight individual finishes for the Kohawks, each adding to the team's point total. Dukuly and Allen each finished fifth in their respective events, claiming four team points in the triple jump and weight throw. Allen made headlines with her toss in the weight throw, setting a new school record with a heave of 17.07m, the first women in Kohawk history to break the 17-meter mark. Burke rounded out the top eight individual finishes in the 800, taking eighth with a time of 2:23.72. Coe's final team points of the meet came from its relay teams with the 4x400 and 4x800 teams finishing eighth to each grab a point. Dukuly
