CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's basketball team heard its name called on Monday in the 2024 NCAA DIII Men's Basketball Selection Show, being awarded a five seed in the national tournament. The Kohawks will travel to Angola, Indiana and Trine University for a four-team regional pod on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2. Coe's opening round game is scheduled for 5:40 PM ET on Friday evening, taking on Wabash College, the conference tournament champion from the NCAC. The Kohawks are making their second-straight appearance in the DIII tournament and will face the Little Giants for the first time since 1974 and just the second time in school history. The hosts, Trine University, will play in the second game on Friday evening at 8:10 PM ET against Fontbonne. The winners from Friday night's two contests will meet on Saturday evening with tip scheduled for 8:10 PM ET.
