ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Coe College women's track and field team competed for the first time in its outdoor season over the weekend, competing at the WashU Distance Carnival and Invite on Friday and Saturday. The Kohawk women hit several new PRs during the event and were led by
Crystal Burke, who posted a new top-10 time in the 10K. The senior from DeWitt grabbed her fourth-career top-10 mark, finishing her first 10K in 40:44.06. The time, which is seventh in Coe's history, earned her 60th place in the loaded field.
Sangai Dukuly turned in her best collegiate time in the 200m to earn one of Coe's top finishes, placing 11th with a mark of 26.48.
Tracy Allen earned a pair of top-12 finishes in the throwing events, placing fifth in the hammer and 12th in the discus to start her outdoor season.
Lily Mayo and
Morgana Goodlow claimed the final top-15 finishes for the Kohawks, placing 14th and 12th in the 1500m and high jump respectively.
