CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's tennis team advanced to the A-R-C Championship match on Thursday evening, cruising past Wartburg 5-0 in a semifinal matchup. The Kohawks opened the match with victories in all three doubles contests, edging the Knights 8-6, 8-5 and 8-4 for an early 3-0 lead. Coe's treble of victories started with a win at number three from

Graham Peterson. Coe completed the sweep at the top spot as
Ivan Burt-Smith and
Jumpei Kasai combined for an 8-6 decision. The Kohawks handled business in singles with a pair of straight-set victories, with Short and Idoux handling business at number three and four.
Up next: The Kohawks are back in action on Saturday, May 4 for the American Rivers Conference title match, taking on Luther in Decorah at 1 PM.
