DUBUQUE, Iowa – Coe College junior women's golfer
Kye Daywitt picked up her first career victory on Monday afternoon at the Loras College Invite, finishing the tournament with a two-day total of 162 to earn medalist honors. The Grants Pass, Oregon native led the Kohawks to a second-place finish on the team leaderboard, posting rounds of 80 and 82 in tough conditions at The Meadows Golf Golf Course. She recorded a pair of birdies during the victory and edged second place by one stroke. Coe had three additional top ten finishers with
Lia Maxwell finishing tied for seventh as an individual and
Anja Mills and
Morgan Cain finishing tied for 10th.
Morgan Witte and
Molly Baker concluded the team scoring for the Kohawks, placing 12th and 15th respectively.
