Ian Kearney netted his second goal of the season. Hamline fought back with two goals in the first half, scoring in the 26th and 37th minutes to go ahead before the break. Coe leveled the score in the 72nd minute, taking advantage of a free-kick opportunity as
Dylan Pagel headed home the equalizer. The Pipers scored the winner moments later, regaining a 3-2 lead in the 76th minute they held for the remainder of the contest.

- The Kohawks opened the match on top, recording a shot on target 45 seconds in. Kearney capitalized on the early momentum in the sixth minute, scoring the opener from just outside the area. Juan Suarez helped start the move, flicking on a long ball toward Kearney who did the rest. Hamline grew into the game, firing shots on Coe's goal but coming up empty. The Pipers hit the back of the net in the 26th minute, scoring the equalizer with a solid team goal. The visitors got in front in the 38th minute, making it 2-1 with a quick-strike goal. The teams shared chances throughout the opening portion of the second half but Coe found the equalizer in the 72nd. Kearney delivered a perfect corner into the box for Pagel who rose above the defense to power home the goal. Hamline quickly answered minutes later, scoring the winner in the 76th minute on a corner of their own.
