RIPON, Wisc. – The Coe College men's soccer team dropped a road match at Ripon on Saturday evening, falling 4-1 to the Red Hawks. Coe ended the match with an 18-15 shot advantage over Ripon but the host's nine shots on target were five more than Coe's. The Red Hawks scored an opening goal in the first half, finding the back of the net in the 17th minute. The hosts added two more goals in the second half, scoring in the 54th and 76th minute to take a three-goal lead. Coe pulled one back in the 76th minute as
Ian Kearney converted a penalty but Ripon sealed the deal minutes later, scoring the fourth and final goal in the 80th minute.

- Jr. Holland made an early save for Coe, stopping a shot on goal in the fourth minute. Ripon scored later in the period, scoring the first goal with an individual effort from outside the box. The Red Hawks fought off a strong surge from Coe in the latter half of the first period, making a pair of saves in the final five minutes. Ripon doubled the lead in th 54th minute and later made it 3-0 in the 76th minute. Coe made it 3-1 in the 76th on Kearney's PK and later had a chance to make it 3-2 but another save from Ripon kept it a two-goal deficit. The hosts put the game away in the 80th minute with a penalty of their own, making it 4-1.
