CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coe College men's soccer freshman forward Jonah Lasselle was honored by the American Rivers Conference for the first time in his career on Monday afternoon, being named the league's Offensive Player of the Week. The Albany, Oregon native scored three goals and tallied an assist as Coe picked up a pair of A-R-C wins over Nebraska Wesleyan and Buena Vista. Lasselle started with a goal and an assist at NWU, scoring the opening goal before assisting the second in the first half. He capped off an impactful performance against the Prairie Wolves in the second half, winning the penalty that gave the Kohawks the lead for good. On Saturday, Lassell bagged a brace against the Beavers, scoring twice in the first 15 minutes of the game. With the two goals, Lasselle took sole possession of Coe's goal-scoring record for a freshman, hitting 10 for the 2026 season.
