CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coe College men's soccer players Jonah Lasselle and William Shaw were honored by the American Rivers Conference Friday afternoon in the league's postseason honors release. Lasselle was named the A-R-C Rookie of the Year after one of the best freshman seasons in school history as the Albany, Oregon native set the school record for goals with 10, including five against league opponents. Lasselle is Coe's first-ever Rookie of the Year winner and Coe's first freshman all-conference honoree since 2022. Shaw, a sophomore from Kansas City, was a wall in goal for Coe as he was third in the league in total saves with 32 in six matches. The Kohawk shot stopper averaged 5.33 saves per game and earned both of Coe's wins this year.
