CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The no. 12 Coe College wrestling team wrapped up competition at the 2025 NWCA National Duals on Saturday, going 1-1 en route to a sixth-place finish at the highly-touted event. The Kohawks opened their day with an upset victory over no. 6 Baldwin Wallace, defeating the Yellow Jackets 26–21 thanks to wins from
Brayden Parke, Kael Kurtz, Dresden Grimm, LJ Richardson, Jared Voss and
Damari Dancy. Parke, Richardson, Voss and Dancy all registered bonus-point decisions to help clinch the victory with Voss securing the team's lone fall of the contest. The Kohawks then face no. 7 Vermont State Castleton in the fifth-place match, falling just short in a battle that ended 22-14.
Bryce Parke, Richardson and Voss were the lone Kohawks to come away with wins, each claiming bonus point decisions to keep it close on the team scoreboard.
Brayden Parke suffered his lone defeat in the match but put up a strong fight against another ranked opponent, falling in a narrow 11-8 decision to no. 4 Gavin Bradley of VTSU Castleton.
