WHITTIER, California – The Coe College men's swimming and diving team wrapped up its California trip last week with a dual meet at Whittier College. The Kohawk men were led by freshmen duo
Kamen Rangelov and
Maxwell Deacon who combined to be the squad's leading point talliers. Rangelov secured first-place finishes in the 50 Breast and 100 IM individually and was a part of the second-place 100 Medley and 100 Free relay teams. Deacon followed suit with individual victories in the 50 Back and 50 Fly while also placing second in the 100 Fly. Deacon was also on the 100 Medley and 100 Free relay teams, helping Coe to second-place finishes in both.
Isaiah Lawshe, Giannino Coniglio, Joshua Yi and
Tyler Rowe secured Coe's remaining podium finishes.
