INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Coe College men's golf team capped off its 2025 fall season with a bang on Wednesday, picking up a team victory at the 18-hole Simpson Fall Invite at Indianola Country Club. The Kohawk men were paced by
Tyler Santi and
Sam Scully who tied for medalist honors with school-record matching rounds of 68, three under par. Santi kept a clean card to fire his 68, posting a single birdie on the front nine before back-to-back birdies on 14 and 15. Scully's 68 featured four birdies, two on the front and two on the back as the senior put a bow on an excellent fall campaign.
Caden Weddingfeld was just behind the two medalists, posting a one-over 72 to finish T6 while
Tommy Kulesza rounded out the event-winning team score with a two-over 73. Coe had a second team competing in the one-day event, led by
C. Reece Breitenbach who posted a 76 to finish T23.
Cameron Daniell (77, T31),
Karl Liedtke (79, T43) and
Mitchell Katz (79, T43) rounded out the team scoring for the B squad while
Lane Pierson posted an 82 to finish T62.
