CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's soccer finished its final regular season with a defeat at home against the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves. Coe suffered a 3-1 loss that saw two goals within the first ten minutes of the match. The Prairie Wolves scored a quick goal in the fifth minute of the match but a goal from Coe's
Elly Manning just three minutes later leveled the scoreline. The assists from the equalizing goal came from
Rebecca Allers and
Mac Adams from a Coe throw in. Nebraska Wesleyan would add a goal later in the first half and another in the second to put the match away.

- Scoring started early for both teams as two goals were scored in the first 10 minutes. Nebraska Wesleyan with a goal in the 5th minute and the Kohawks, responding right after in the eighth minute with a goal from Elly Manning off a throw in. The action continued back and forth as a combined 13 shots were taken, seven by the Kohawks. The Prairie Wolves would respond to the equalizer with another goal in the 25th minute. In the second half the Kohawks would add pressure to the Nebraska Wesleyan defense with four more shots to their total, but a third goal would be scored in the 70th minute to end Coe's chances of a comeback.
