Box Score 3 ST. PETER, Minn. – The Coe College men's tennis team concluded its 2025 fall season in style last weekend at the ITA Central Regional Championships and the Gustavus Midwest Invite. The Kohawk men competed across both events, highlighted by a semifinal appearance from
Bryton Short and
Jumpei Kasai in doubles. The fifth-seeded pairing knocked off opponents from Edgewood and UW-Stevens Point 8-0 in the round of 64 and 32 and advanced to the quarterfinal round with an epic 8-7 victory over Gustavus pairing Luyke Fridinger and Deuce Daniel. Kasai and Short then booked their place in the semis with an 8-6 victory over Carthage duo Luca Okino and Victor Pimenta before a loss to Jack Rivkin & Akshay Garapati of Carleton. Freshman
Anthony Schulte had Coe's top performance in the main singles draw, reaching the quarterfinals before a 6-4, 6-2 loss to top-seeded Gage Gohl of Gustavus.
Reed Kruger also showed well in the C Singles flight, going 3-1 with his lone defeat coming in the championship match in a tiebreaking third set.
