FULTON, Mo. — The Coe College women's basketball team picked up its second straight victory to start the season Tuesday evening on the road, defeating Westminster College 56-29 in dominating fashion. The Kohawk defense stifled the host Blue Jays from the opening whistle, limiting them to just two points in each of the first two quarters. The visiting Kohawks put their foots on the gas pedal in the final 10 minutes, outscoring the hosts 17-11 to put the game on ice. Kravig led Coe's scoring efforts for the second straight game, posting 16 points as she hit 4-of-7 from 3 while
Audrie Helmrichs and
Caydee Kirkham had eight each. Helmrichs finished just shy of a double-double with 11 rebounds and 11 different Kohawks registered points in the victory.
