Football earns third straight NCAA Playoff bid, set to travel to Concordia Wisconsin for opening game

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College football team earned its third consecutive bid to the NCAA DIII Football Playoffs Sunday, marking the longest stretch in program history. The Kohawks, who finished the season 8-2 and 7-1 in A-R-C play, will hit the road and face Concordia Wisconsin, the NACC regular season champion in the opening round. Concordia posted a perfect 8-0 record in league play and a 9-1 overall record. The Falcons, who are back in the NCAA Playoffs for the first time since 2013, ranks 48th in DIII in total offense and 61st in total defense, boasting solid balance on both sides of the ball. Concordia is coming off back-to-back 35-0 victories over Rockford and Eureka and will host Coe at Tomasini Stadium in Mequon, Wisconsin. The game is scheduled for Saturday, November 22 at 12 PM local time. More information will be available via KohawkAthletics.com throughout the week.
