CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College Clay Target squad transcends the typical student-athlete group, united by their enthusiasm for competitive shooting while prioritizing philanthropy and enhancing their local community. This autumn, the Coe Clay Target team demonstrated their commitment to community engagement by generating over $1,500 for regional charities through various fundraising initiatives. "I've never encountered a team as dedicated to community service as this one," remarked head coach
Patrick Cory. "The culture of service and community involvement established five years ago continues to thrive each year." Their efforts kicked off on September 27 with an auction and continued on October 19 with a benefit shoot, backed by the kind support of the Izaak Walton League of Linn County and the Kennedy High School Student Government. This annual endeavor highlights the program's dedication to community service and strengthening local connections.
