SPARTA, Ill. – The Coe College Clay Target Team competed at the ACUI / SCTP Spring Central Midwest Conference Championships over the weekend, turning in one of the best performances at the event in program history.
Gregory Stewart made individual headlines with the first-ever regional title for the Kohawks, securing the top spot in the American Skeet with a perfect score of 100 before winning six-person shoot off to claim the title. Coe also had other strong individual finishes from
Kamea Herrera and
Samantha Kelchen who placed second and third overall on the female leaderboard. As a team, Coe placed second in the regional with a total of 1419 targets.
