GRINNELL, Iowa – The Coe College men's track & field team had a strong showing to the 2025-26 indoor track & field season Friday evening at the Grinnell College Opener, picking up five event victories while seeing two new top-10 marks set. The Kohawks were led by event wins from
LaRon Donald, Jaden Royal, Mozes Hoy, Konnor Bruening and
Trent Allen, setting the pace for the Kohawk men who also had two new meet records. Royal was one of the Kohawks to set a new top-10 mark in his first meet with the Kohawks, posting a leap of 13.65m in the triple jump to win the event and land seventh on Coe's all-time list. Bruening and Allen threw down meet records en route to their victories in the 800 and 5000, posting times of 2:05.90 and 15:59.99.
