NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Coe College men's track & field team took the track for the first time in 2026 over the weekend, competing at North Central College's Pat Heenan Invitational. Coe's efforts were led by freshman
Jaden Royal who posted a second-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 13.90m, the eighth-best leap in school history.
Trent Allen showed well in the 3000M run, placing sixth with a time of 9:12.15.
Michael Vigil concluded Coe's individual point-scoring efforts in the high jump, clearing 1.70m to finish eighth.
LaRon Donald, Robert Hansen, Isaiah Morgan and
Talon Sargent combined for a strong performance in the 4x400 relay, placing fourth overall in a time of 3:39.16.
