CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College men's swimming and diving team hosted the opening day of the 2025 American Rivers Conference Swim & Dive Championships Thursday, welcoming Loras, Luther, Nebraska Wesleyan and Simpson to the Coe Natatorium. Freshman Kamen Rangelov continued his strong performances on the first day of competition, claiming a silver medal in the 50 Free for his first all-conference medal. He also led off the 200 Free Relay with a school-record time of 21.03, helping the squad finish just off the podium as he, Giannino Coniglio, Isaiah Lawshe and Maxwell Deacon finished .06 seconds behind third place. The 400 Medley Relay team also finished fourth in agonizing fashion as Rangelov, Lawshe, Deacon and Joshua Yi finished in 3:43.78.
