The Coe College men's tennis team opened its 2025 Spring Break trip with a pair of losses to Dallas Baptist University Thursday at Sanlando Tennis Park, dropping a 7-0 decision in the opening match before falling 5-2 in the second. Jumpei Kasai and
Bryton Short paired up for a 6-4 decision at number one. Coe went on to win a pair of singles contests in the second matchup of the day as Kasai and
Reed Kruger salvaged points for the Kohawks. Kasai claimed a 6-4, 6-2 victory at number two singles while Kruger picked up a 6-3, 6-7, 10-3 victory in a tiebreaking set at number five.
