ORLANDO, Fl. - The Coe College men's tennis team wrapped up its spring break matches Monday evening with an impressive 6-1 victory over Hope College. The Kohawks, who posted a 5-3 record against solid opponents during the week, started the match with a sweep in doubles.
Bryton Short / Jumpei Kasai, Ivan Burt-Smith / Daniel Rohlman and
Graham Peterson / Joshua Tiemann gave Coe the 1-0 lead, claiming 6-3, 6-4 and 6-0 victories. Short, Burt-Smith, Tiemann, Peterson and Kasai went on to win their second matches of the contest in singles, polishing off the dominant effort.
