CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's track and field team was in action on Friday at Saturday at Mount Mercy's Mustang Distance Carnival & Open, competing against teams from across the region and throughout the divisions. The Kohawk women were led by a new top-ten mark from
Lily Mayo, posting a third-place finish in the 3000 Steeplechase with a time of 11:56.91, the second-best mark in school history. Coe's 4x400 relay squad of
Josie Gehrke, Taiy Pruett, Maggie Preuss and
Emily Andrade ran their best time of the season and finished third, posting a time of 4:12.12. The 4x100 team of
Taiy Pruett,
Sangai Dukuly, Josie Gehrke and
Emily Andrade claimed a third-place finish in the elite competition, earning the podium spot with a time of 51.76.
