DECORAH, Iowa – The Coe College men's tennis team saw its 2025 season come to a close Saturday afternoon at Luther, falling 4-1 to the top-seeded Norse in the A-R-C title match. The Kohawks went behind after the opening session of play, falling in two of three doubles matches as Luther secured the team point.
Ivan Burt-Smith / Daniel Rohlman were Coe's lone victors in the doubles matchups, picking up a 6-4 decision at number two to salvage a win for the Kohawks. The Norse finished the job in singles, winning three of four matches that were played to completion.
Jumpei Kasai earned a singles win to avoid the sweep, taking down his opponent 6-2, 6-4 at number six singles.
