CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College women's soccer team suffered a non-conference defeat to the University of Wisconsin Whitewater Saturday afternoon at Clark Field, falling 4-0 to the visiting Warhawks. Coe played a tightly contested first half with UWW, conceding just one goal while registering a handful of chances in the first 45 minutes. The Warhawks turned up the pressure in the second half, adding an insurance goal in the 56th minute before icing the match with goals in the 66th and 85th minutes. The Kohawks finished with seven shots on goal in the match, their third highest total of the season.

- Magdalynne Preuss started the game well for Coe, registering a shot on target in the opening four minutes. Mac Adams and Elly Manning called the keeper into action twice more in the following moments, forcing saves in the 5th and 7th minutes. UWW started to gain control around the 15-minute mark, piling on a pair of shots before finding the opening goal. Maleah Kompsie had Coe's final shot on target in the opening half, seeing an attempt saved in the 32nd minute. Whitewater put the game away quickly in the second half, doubling the lead with a shot from distance that just snuck under the cross bar. The Warhawks scored two more times before the final whistle, making it 3-0 in the 66th before a game-sealing fourth in the 85th.
