KANSASVILLE, Wisc. – The Coe College women's golf team opened up play at the Midwest Region Classic on Friday, shooting an opening round score of 327 which is tied for seventh place after 18 holes.
Lia Maxwell posted a team-best round of 79, recording two birdies en route to the seven-over par round.
Kye Daywitt (82, T40),
Paige Franzen (83, T53) and
Sydney Stutzel (83, T53) concluded Coe's team scoring for the opening round, sitting five shots behind preseason A-R-C favorite Dubuque in sixth place.
Morgan Witte (92, 144) was the final member of the team to play on Friday while individuals
Madison Connolly (83, T53) and
Abigail Mundsinger (89, T117) competed as individuals.
