WAVERLY, Iowa – The Coe College women's golf team wrapped up play at the Wartburg Fall Invite on Sunday, playing the final 18 holes at Prairie Links Golf Course. The Kohawk women bounced back in a major way from a tough opening day, shaving 14 strokes off their day-one team total to post a second-day total of 322.
Kye Daywitt turned in another solid round on Sunday, placing a team-best T26 after a second-round 79.
Lia Maxwell was just behind Daywitt on the scoreboard, posting a second-round 80 to finish in a tie for 45th. Rounding out Coe's day two team scoring was
Morgan Witte (81)
, who cut nine strokes off her day-one total, and
Paige Franzen, who fired a second-straight 82 to place T51.
Madison Connolly (98) and
Sydney Stutzel (96) concluded the day-two scoring for Coe.
