Women’s Bowling sweeps MIBC Championships as Corley and Logston claim all-conference honors

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Coe College women's bowling team swept the team titles at the Mid Iowa Bowling Conference Championships over the weekend, claiming the team and JV team championships to cap off the conference schedule. The Kohawks defeated Waldorf in the opening round of Sunday's bracket play and went on to defeat Iowa State in the semifinals and Iowa Central in the championship match. Morgan Corley and Shelby Logston were the top individuals for Coe, earning all-conference honors with first and third place efforts. Corley claimed the top spot overall with an average of 190.8 across 10 games. Kaylee Harris, Kylee Greenwood, Shelby Parmer and Kaitlyn Toney put together a near perfect sweep in the JV standings for the Kohawk women, finishing second, third, fourth and fifth individually.
