Men's & Women's Bowling set to travel to Smyrna, Tennessee for USBC Sectional Championships

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Coe College men's and women's bowling teams found out their USBC Sectional assignment last night during the annual collegiate selection show on BowlTV, each being picked to participate in the Smyrna, Tennessee Sectional scheduled for March 14-15 at Smyrna Bowling Center. The top four teams from the sectional will advance to the 2026 Intercollegiate Team Championships April 13-18 at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin. All teams advancing to a sectional qualifier will bowl 64 Baker games over two days to determine the four advancers from each location. In addition to the excitement of team competition, the sectional qualifiers for the 2026 Intercollegiate Singles Championships also will be held at each of the four locations March 13. Student-athletes at each host center will bowl six games with 24 men and 24 women – the top four men and top four women at each sectional, plus eight additional individuals based on field size – advancing to the ISC.
