GAME FACTS
DUBUQUE 4 - COE 1
- Dubuque opened the scoring early in the first half, breaking the deadlock after a save from Monroe fell to the feet of a Spartan attacker. UD immediately made it 2-0 with another in the 14th minute as a few passes sprung an attacker for the second. The Kohawks brought the game back to life less than two minutes later as Boche scored her first collegiate goal after a nicely played pass from Chloe Meiners. Coe's backline and Monroe did well to keep it a one-goal game heading into the halftime break as six saves from the Kohawk keeper sent the match to the break at 2-1. UD regained a multi-goal lead less than five minutes into the second half, netting the third after a quick-striking team move created space for a shot just at the top of the box. Dubuque capped off the scoring with a fourth in the 75th minute, creating the chance with a driving run and a squared ball that was easily finished.
