CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College men's track and field team turned in a strong performance at a two-day event hosted by Mount Mercy, turning in 13 personal or season best efforts at the meet.
Kaven Corbett, Ryan Hines, Talon Sargent and
Robert Hansen posted a season-best mark in the 4x400 relay to place seventh, finishing with a time of 3:24.99. Individually,
Lane German threw down a season-best performance in the 3000m Steeplechase, placing second with a time of 11:40.78.
Trent Allen rounded out Coe's top-three finishes in the 5000m, placing third overall with a time of 16:15.09.
LaRon Donald placed fourth in the long jump, recording a personal best leap of 6.73m, while
Jaden Royal finished fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.47m. Donald also landed another personal best in the 110m hurdles, finishing in 15.77 to place 11th.
Miguel Kutter-Walker, Kael Lawler, Owen Krogmeier, Mozes Hoy, and
Griffin Coates were the additional Kohawks to post season or personal-best times, rounding out Coe's all-around effort.
